  • Is my presence required during the house cleaning?

    At New Jersey Cleaning Services, we understand that most of our customers are busy every day and may not always be home. That’s usually one of the reasons why we're needed, after all! Your presence is not required during the cleaning services. Most of our clients provide us with access to their houses during their absence.

  • How should I prepare for a home cleaning service?

    We ask our clients to pick up household items such as clothing and toys. Our goal is to clean your home as efficiently as possible. When it comes to our cleaning services, we want to keep our attention on the surfaces!

  • What kind of services does New Jersey Cleaning Services typically not provide?

    The list of service requests we have to reject includes doing laundry, picking up or organizing clutter, washing dishes, cleaning fireplace interiors, and dusting or vacuuming curtains or drapes. We also cannot clean electronic screens, though we will dust these surfaces. In addition, due to safety reasons, New Jersey Cleaning Services cannot clean or dust any wires or pipes.


    That said, additional services such as cleaning inside of the kitchen appliances are available. Remember to ask us about our additional cleaning services before your appointment so we can reserve more time for you!

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule my cleaning?

    We're aware that sometimes unexpected situations come up. According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, it's likely that a whopping 80% of two-income households are going to be using an outside housecleaning service by 2025, and as we all know, each household comes with its own set of life circumstances. If you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning services, please call the office to notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. If we receive a shorter notice, we'll have to charge a cancellation fee.

  • What time will my crew arrive?

    We are able to give you an estimate, but we ask that you allow our crew a 15 to 30-minute window to arrive. Sometimes the time of your cleaning services may change because of unexpected late notice or cancellations.


    We'll do our absolute best to notify you about these changes as soon as possible. Please remember that these changes are out of our control.
